TESTIMONIES OF A STELLA ODUAH INSPIRED GIRL CHILD

TESTIMONIES OF A STELLA ODUAH INSPIRED GIRL CHILD

The first time I heard her name PRINCESS STELLA ODUAH, I was amidst prominent women in my community, G.R.A Onitsha North many years ago. Its quite a small community, but very influential. These ladies happened to be discussing about a woman who took words out of their mouths and assumed the topic of discussion in some occasion they attended. A function organized by the Anglican bishop for multi million naira project meant to tackle certain evangelical difficulties, to their chagrin, PRINCESS STELLA ODUAH offered to undertake the entire project single handedly. They called this mystery woman(to me) different exulting names like, “The woman that has it all… BEAUTY and BRAINS, GENEROUS, COMPASSIONATE, A PHILANTHROPIST” etc. I was enthralled by this act of selflessness, having full knowledge of how rare it is in our contemporary society especially coming from a woman. She Stood out from the rest and posed a challenge to her fellow leaders, she gave them a clear tutorial on what leadership is all about. I immediately learnt about her and she became my “look up to” visionary.

Mommy STELLA ODUAH my love for you is beyond measure. I can write an epistle on you and still not an ounce of tiredness in me because after a thorough analysis of your great deeds as a minister and now distinguished senator, u deserve these accolades and more. she is a mentor and idol to young ladies every where. A kind of person you aspire to to be like in the future. her achievements and accomplishments make her more than a worthy mentor
.
PRINCESS STELLA ODUAH is a person that prioritizes the development of people even before delving into politics. infact she joined politics to use it as a tool to widen her reach to people and affect their lives directly. As an elected senator during the 2015 polls, she has continued to roll out EMPOWERMENT schemes all over Anambra North. Her enormous works began from the aviation sector as a minister and continued as a senator, we must return her to the senate to continue what she’s been doing.
Yes for my model I will campaign for PDP
For PRINCESS STELLA I will ask and plead on you to vote for HER

SENATOR STELLA ODUAH GIFTED ME ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND NAIRA

SENATOR STELLA ODUAH GIFTED ME ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND NAIRA

As more beneficiaries continue to give their testimonies, we focus our story on Pius Udealo, a resident of Housing 33 Onitsha and a native of Nzam in Anambra West LGA. Anambra State. One of the beneficiary of the one hundred thousand naira grant.

Mr Udealo is a married man with 5 children. He is a professional Mechanic and has his setup at Odoakpu. He heard about the EMPOWERMENT while he was listening to Sapientia radio and decided to take the opportunity. So he went and did the necessary things required. And for the first time in his life he witnessed a ”talk and do” politician. He felt the long arms of senator Stella Oduah touching him personaly. He received N100,000(HUNDRED THOUSAND NIARA) to go and grow his business. Now he’s business has expanded and has become an employer of labour as he now has workers and trainees.

To him there is no one else for senate except SENATOR STELLA ODUAH(ADAEZENEMEOGO). What the people need is a senator that will touch their lives directly and Senator Stella Oduah is that person.

“Ka ifeoma merem mere ndi ozo”.

SENATOR ODUAH DOES WHAT SHE DOES BEST

SENATOR ODUAH DOES WHAT SHE DOES BEST

Charity begins at home they say. Happening now at Ukwu nkwu camp, onu odaje akili ozizo and communities across the Niger is more or less a routine gesture exhibited by the distinguished senator to her people.

Ukwu nkwu village is a remote area of akili ozizo located across the Niger river In Ogbaru, only accessed through water ways. A poor area neglected by leaders and almost invisible to governmental authorities. Not to princess stella oduah, as she has routinely, for countless years sent relief materials to the various camps across the Niger. The distinguished Senator presently has her team at this location, giving out various relief materials to its inhabitants…

UNDERSTANDING SENATOR ODUAH’S NYSC BILL

UNDERSTANDING SENATOR ODUAH’S NYSC BILL

The distinguished Senator Stella Oduah sponsored a Bill on NYSC tagged:

NYSC Act (Amendment) Bill 2017
“An Act to amend the National Youth Service Corps Act, CAP. N84 LFN, 2004 to provide for free and compulsory acquisition of vocational skills by corps members, and for such related matters.”
This bill presented by the senator was designed to curtail the rising unemployment rate among the youths by empowering them through various forms of skill acquisition that suits their respective passions. The Bill is at the committee stage awaiting Public Hearing.

It’s no news that yearly, hundreds of Nigerian youths are pushed into the labour market after one year compulsory national youth service. These young people are paid stipends that isn’t enough to establish nor save for life after the service scheme, irrespective of the harsh labour market that awaits them upon completion. They, like their predecessors join the long queue of unemployed youths seeking employment in our already saturated labour market. Many have no choice but to fall into odd jobs to put irregular meals on their tables. An excruciating resultant factor, after spending long years in school and funded all these years. It’s a sore sight.

Senator Stella Oduah identified these challenges plaguing the youths and nation at large. In consonance with her passion and vision for the youths, she proposed this bill to compel the federal government to include skill acquisition programmes fully funded for the youths to diversify their options by learning different skills of interest, ranging from fashion and designing to make-up artistry, music, movies, catering, et cetera. This will traditionally prepare and equip the youths for life after their service year. This will in turn result to high reduction in number of unemployed youths as many will diversify into various skills they’ve acquired during the period of their service year. This will further bring about an increased number of entrepreneurs resulting to more job creations and ultimately a vibrant economy.

This is in tandem with the vision and passion of our dear Senator who has repeatedly demonstrated her love for the youths. A passion she has consistently demonstrated by empowering youths from various communities across her district, making them self sufficient and employers of labour.

When this Bill is passed, our National Youths Service will not just be a one year serve and leave term, but an avenue to imbue entrepreneurial skills on the youths that pass through this scheme. Thus building a future anchored on potential entrepreneurs that will be future employers of labour seen in developed countries. The benefits of this bill can not be overstated.

Anambra North is blessed to have a visionary leader like our indefatigable Senator Omueze, Adaezechukwu na eme ogo, whose leadership has continued to impact the lives of many especially the youths.

It can only get better for ndi Anambra North under her leadership.
