Sen. Oduah welcomes Chief Mrs. Obiano in Ogbaru

The senator representing Anambra North Senatorial zone Sen. Princess Stella Oduah on 22nd Day of August joined APGA party faithful, Ogbaru LG authority and Ndi Ogbaru at large to welcome the first Lady of Anambra state Chief Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano on her Local Government tour and  empowerment of indigent women and vulnerable children.

The event held at Ogbaru Local Government secretariat in Atani had all the 16 communities of Ogbaru Local Government area were all represented in large numbers despite the torrential rainfall.

The widely loved legislator was welcomed by cultural dance groups and APGA party stakeholders present, the legislator in her usual show of love for Ndi Ogbaru defiled the heavy downpour to walk around the arena to the cheers of the people. The legislator also paid her respect to the traditional Rulers and custodians of traditional law present.

The First lady Chief Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano who arrive at about 5:12pm was walmly received by Local Government Chairman Comr. Arinze Awogu flanked by the Distinguished Senator, major Local government and party stakeholders. In a speech the Lawmaker congratulated Chief Mrs. Obiano for her numerous efforts in giving the life of the indigents and less privileged a meaning. She wishes the first lady, Gods blessings in abundance.

The legislator showed appreciation to the first lady and presented the highly valued Ogbaru traditional gifts of Yam tubers and live Catfish to Chief Mrs. Obiano. The legislator also observed the distribution of gift items to the indigents.

The event was attended by top government functionaries and APGA officers amongst whom are; Chief Nzemeka Olisah ( ASUBEB Chairman), Rt. Hon. Chinwe Nwebili (Former Speaker ANSHA), Chief Sir Paul Nwosu (APGA leader Ogbaru LGA), Hon. Sir Somto Udeze (ANSHA, OGBARU II), Hon. Benson Nwawulu (ANSHA, OGBARU I), Traditional Rulers, SSA and SA to the Anambra state Governor amongst others.
